The basketball Huskies just signed a major talent, Terrence Jones out of Portland, at least kinda. The kid orally committed in front of a big crowd at his high school, but then didn't sign the letter of intent. Then he got a call from Kentucky's John Calipari right after the announcement (kind of a dick move Cal).
This is just a weird story. Maybe the kid is looking to pull a Brandon Knight and not sign his LOI. Regardless, it is beyond classless to tell an 18 year old kid he just disappointed 1000s of people b/c he didn't want to travel halfway across the country to play for a used car salesman of a coach.
Whatever. Enjoy the cheerleaders.
