The Big Brother house was awash with sexual tension last night as new-comer Keeley draped her body over Steve in an attempt to become a human free weight.

Ex-serviceman Steve, who has up until now kept a low profile, was encouraged to come out of his shell by flirty housemate Keeley.

All of a sudden the former squaddie was keen to show his strength, which he demonstrated rather unusually by bench pressing the attractive contestant over his chest.

As he lifted her up and down with his arms he couldn’t hide the smirk from his face while the 30-year-old Mancunian's behind was only inches from his face.

The playfulness sparked debate in the house, as Rachel thought it was inappropriate behaviour for the 40-year-old married man to take part in.

Keeley also started to become worried that viewers might identify their flirting as more than what it was and said in the bedroom: ‘Steve lifted me by the ass, is that bad?’ By Jessica Satherley

Steve was quick to defend himself to housemates though and said: ‘I was just having a laugh, I wouldn’t dream of jeopardising my marriage and kids.’

The amputee from Leicester then took Keeley aside in the lounge and said: ‘You’ve got to stop what you’re doing because it’s coming across wrong.

‘All I’ve done is tried to make you feel comfortable and I didn’t want it to be perceived in a different way.’

Meanwhile, Big Brother announced that Corin, Ife and Caoimhe were nominated for eviction.

The three nominees were able to take part in a task named Dead Or Alive, where the winner would be saved from eviction, and replaced by another housemate.

Steve became the Sherrif and the three contestants shot at each other with plastic bullets to see who was the sharpest shooter to win.

Caoimhe won the task and replaced herself with Mario as a nominee for eviction and said she chose the 28-year-old because she felt no one would vote him out of the house.
