A new unit from AKB48, “Mini Skirt“, showed up at the Tokyo Toy Show 2010 on the 18th and performed their debut song, “Mini skirt no Yousei (Mini skirt Fairy)” in front of 300 fans.“Mini Skirt” was introduced at the AKB48 concert on July 10th as a research students unit, consisting of, Mori Anna, Takeuchi Miyu, and Shimada Haruka.
“Mini Skirt” will also be in a new game, “Pretty rhythm ・mini skirt” (TAKARA TOMY) as CG characters. ”Pretty rhythm ・mini skirt” is a game about a girl named “Rhythm-chan” who aims to be an idol.
