Mini-me: Adam Sandler takes his daughter Sadie to the movies yesterday in Santa Monica, California
Funnyman Adam Sandler took his mini-me daughter Sadie, 4, to the movies yesterday and the little girl looks just like her famous father.
Dressed casually and with a coffee in hand, Sandler held on to Sadie's hand as she skipped along the street.
The pair went to see the new animated movie Megamind at a theatre in Santa Monica in a film that has an all-star cast including many of Adam's fellow comics Tina Fey, Jonah Hill and Ben Stiller.
It's a story about super villain Megamind (voiced by Will Ferrell) who finally conquers his nemesis, the hero Metro Man (voiced by Brad Pitt) but then realises his life is pointless without a hero to fight.
The 44-year-old has another daughter Sunny, 2, and has been married to actress wife Jacqueline Titone for 7 years.
But not only is Sandler a good father - he also appears to be mega-generous and showed this off by surprising his co-stars from his movie Grown Ups with some very impressive gifts recently.
Funny girl: The 4-year-old is the spitting image of her comedian father and also seems to have gotten his sense of humour as she laughed while skipping along
Comedian Chris Rock revealed that his former Saturday Night Live friend was in an Oprah give-away mood following the huge success of their film.
'I went outside the other day and I had a new Maserati in the driveway', Rock revealed on Howard Stern's radio show this morning.
Rock said he soon found out that his other four co-stars - David Spade, Rob Schneider and Kevin James all found the $200,000 sports car in their driveway.
Doting Dad: Sandler held Sadie's hand during the father-daughter afternoon trip - he also has a 2-year-old little girl called Sunny
Dropping nearly $1million on luxury Italian cars is probably nothing for Sandler but Rock said to Stern that he now feels like he owes his generous co-star.
'Now I think that I'm Adam Sandler's b**ch', Rock joked.
Rock also revealed that it is the first time he's received any kind of appreciation for working on a film and is happy to have the gift as he never would have bought himself such an expensive car.
Generous: Sandler reportedly bought his four co-stars a $200,000 Maserati each following the success of Grown Ups
'The movie's like the biggest thing for Sandler, he appreciates the help'.
The film's success is definitely good news for Sandler who recently made it on to the list of Hollywood's most overpaid stars.
He apparently brings in $8.45 for every $1 he is paid. Six out of the top 10 actors on the list were comedians, which proves that humour doesn't always translate outside North America.
