The Auburn Tiger Paws Are Probably Still Celebrating

Sorry I didn't get to do this yesterday, but congrats to the Auburn Tigers for winning the national title they were denied in 2004. Auburn has come close a couple times in the last few years, but this time they finally busted through. So I'm happy for the Auburn fans (even if the trophy might only be on loan), but really I'm happy for the Auburn Tiger Paws. Because when really hot girls are happy, that makes me happy.

We finally made it to the big one. After 34 games, 68 teams and countless hot college cheerleaders, it's time for the only game that really matters. #1 v. #2. SEC v. PAC10. High-powered offense v. high-powered offense. If you aren't excited for this game, then I just don't know how to help you.

Oh wait, I actually DO know how to help you. By filling your eyeballs and mind with some of the hottest cheerleaders in the country. Enjoy the game and enjoy the sideline entertainment.

Game of the Day -- #1 Auburn v. #19 South Carolina

Honestly, the Oklahoma/Nebraska game is probably a better game overall, but this is the game that decides the national championship match-up (no offense Oregon State, but you're gonna get crushed). Can the Ol' Ball Coach pull another rabbit out of the hat, or will the NCAA-sponsored Auburn Tigers keep the dream alive?

If I was a betting man, and if you've followed any of my predicitions you will know why I'm not, I think the Son of a Preacher Man earns his 250k and puts Auburn in the BCS Championship Game.

Game of the Day -- #2 Auburn v. #11 Alabama

Well, here it is. The game everyone has been waiting for once we realized just how good Cam Newton and Auburn really are. This is obviously the biggest test of the season for the Tigers. Plus, it's their rivalry game, so that brings all of the additional storylines that rivarly games always provide.

If this thing was at Jordan-Hare, I'd go with Auburn. But for some reason I see Alabama pulling off the upset and ending Auburn's title hopes in devastating fashion. It's one thing for a random team to derail your title dreams, but it's just that more devastating if it's your bitter rival.

Game of the Day -- #6 LSU v. #4 Auburn

This is a VERY big week for my Missouri Tigers. ESPN College Game Day is in town (which means Erin Andrews is in town!!!), it's homecoming weekend (which we invented) and they are playing #1 team in the nation in primetime. It doesn't get much bigger than that around here.

But still, the biggest game of the day is happening down in Alabama. Auburn seems to have the ship righted and headed back to the big time behind their (former) criminal Heisman-candidate QB. At the same time, LSU has a defense that is eating teams alive right now. Should make for a very interesting battle. I think I'm taking Auburn since LSU can't seem to find any sort of offense right now.

Week 4 Winners -- Auburn

Weekly Winners is our weekly highlights of college football teams that pulled off upsets during the previous weekend. As usual, we will celebrate these upsets with cheerleaders. And maybe a little snarky commentary.

So it's not a huge upset, but everyone had started talking like South Carolina was a legit BCS Bowl Game team the past couple of weeks. Then they went into Jordan-Hare Stadium and ran into the buzzsaw that is Cam Newton. That dude is a player, and I think everyone is starting to realize it now. Watch out for Auburn!

Outback Bowl -- Northwestern v. Auburn

We've finally made it to the New Year's Day bowls. Though I'm still not sure why the Outback Bowl is played on New Year's Day. Speaking of Outback, does every fan get a Bloomin' Onion with their paid admission? If they don't it's a travesty!

As far as the football game goes, MEH. Neither team really jumps out at me, but I like Pat Fitzgerald and what he gets out of his team. They are never going to be pretty, but they play their butts off and smack you in the mouth from the word go. Auburn, as usual, is a complete under-achiever. I just don't understand how this team continues to be mediocre. They'll make a bowl game most years, but they just won't deliver on the promise. Gotta be frustrating for Auburn fans. But take solace, your cheerleaders are stupid hot!

Week 9 Winners -- Auburn

I'm taking complete credit for this win. I gave the Tigers a little pep talk a couple of weeks ago, and I think it finally took hold. So you only beat an Ole Miss team that was wildly overrated at the beginning of the year. Big deal. It's an upset, and you've made another appearance on College Cheerleader Heaven!

Auburn Cheerleaders

Auburn's had a rough couple of weeks, and with LSU up this Saturday they need all the help they can get. I'm doing my part here.

Adorable Auburn Cheerleader

Adorable is really the only word I can use to describe her. I just want to roll her up in a ball, put her in my pocket and take her home with me. That's not creepy, right?

Might just make their fans forget how disappointing their football has been recently.
