Fiesta Bowl Cheerleader Preview -- Connecticut v. Oklahoma

Earlier we talked about what may be the best BCS bowl game of the season. Now we get to talk about what should undoubtedly be the worst BCS game of the season. No one, and I mean no one, wanted to see UCONN in a BCS bowl game. Unless this is women's hoops (OK, maybe men's hoops too) there is no reason for UCONN to be competing at the highest level of any sport.

That being said, this is Oklahoma we're talking about. The same Oklahoma that got beat by Boise State in this very same stadium just 4 years ago. So that at least gives folks enough pause to think there could be an upset here. But I'm not buying it. For all of his faults, Bob Stoops is not going to lose another embarrassing BCS bowl game. It's just not going to happen.

UCONN Cheerleader Seems Awfully Happy

Do you think all cheerleaders are this chipper all the time?

Let's Celebrate Some More Championships

I spent a lot of time previewing the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament over the last 3 weeks, but there are other sports and other championships being determined right now. For instance, the UCONN women just finished back-to-back undefeated championship seasons last night. That is just damned impressive. They ran their winning streak to 78 games (and they won 77 of them by double digits). So they deserve a little love on CCH.

And I'm going to try to "honor" some of the other champions from this season as time goes on. Can't wait for the Frozen Four to conclude.

Sorry UCONN Cheerleaders, I Don't Think You'll Be Dancing in March

With a loss to Notre Dame last night, I think UCONN sealed it's fate. And that fate does not include a trip to the NCAA tournament. Which means that a Final Four team from last year won't even make the field of 65 this year. That doesn't happen too often. Of course, this year we'll have two teams from last year's Final Four not make the tournament because there is no chance in hell North Carolina is gonna hear their name called next Sunday. Tough break guys! At least you still have cute cheerleaders.

Game Of The Day: Texas @ UCONN

The best game on today's docket should be #1 (for a few more days) Texas and #21 Connecticut. Of course, UCONN is without their head coach right now and Texas just lost it's first game as the nation's top team, so each squad could be struggling. Neither team is playing great right now, but there will be a ton of talent on the court and that is always a good thing.

There will also be a ton of talent on the sidelines. These girls are HOT!!

Welcome To College Cheerleader Heaven

I absolutely love college cheerleaders. And I plan on celebrating them to the fullest extent.

College cheerleaders, unlike the pros, still look like girls you might actually know and talk to. They aren't completely silicone and botox. At least the aura of innocence still exists. But, there is also the aura of naughtiness that draws you in.

So this blog will attempt to shine the light on the college cheerleader. Let me know what you think.
