Holiday Bowl Cheerleader Preview -- #18 Nebraska v. Washington

This might be the least anticipated bowl game of the entire season. Mainly because we've already seen this beatdown once already this season (and we'll see it again early next season). Nebraska absolutely dominated the Huskies when they played in mid-September and there is no reason to think they won't do it again when they meet in San Diego. Count me as one of many that has no interest in staying up late to watch this debacle.

Nebraska Cheer Camp Pics

So I'm pretty sure these pics are from this summer when the Nebraska cheerleaders attended some type of cheer camp. Or maybe it was just their own "preseason" cheer camp. Regardless, it looks like they had a good time and were kind of to take pictures for us.

Game of the Day - #8 Nebraska v. #19 Texas A&M

For a while there this had all the makings of a ho-hum Big 12 Conference football game. But with A&M's resurgance during the last 4 weeks, this match-up once again looks incredibly attractive. It will be interesting to see if Nebraska's defense and replicate their dominating performance against Kansas last week (which really isn't saying a whole lot, but 87 total yards of offense is insane).

I'm taking the Aggies to pull off the upset this weekend. Not sure why, other than the fact that it would make me happy.

Week 9 Winners -- Nebraska

Weekly Winners is our weekly highlights of college football teams that pulled off upsets during the previous weekend. As usual, we will celebrate these upsets with cheerleaders. And maybe a little snarky commentary.

SONOFABITCH!!! No excuses, the Nubbers came out and beat the piss out of my Tigers. We turned Roy Helu Jr into the next Waltor Payton (RIP). That game just pissed me off. Now we need someone to step up and beat the Huskers in the next few weeks to have a chance at the Big 12 Championship Game. Come on Iowa State!!!!!!

This is how you should respond after a big time loss at home. Go on the road to play a team in Oklahoma State that can't even spell defense and have your way with them. This game was all about the offenses, and Nebraska's was better. It's about that simple. Taylor Martinez re-appeared and had a great game. Too bad he looked like a JV high schooler last week against a real defense.

Thursday Night Football Cheerleader Preview -- #7 Nebraska v. Kansas State

Two undefeated teams meet up in Manhattan, KS tonight to get an early jump on the competition for the Big 12 North Division. Honestly, I think both of these teams are overrated. Nebraska is a good squad, but Top 10 in the country? Really? What exactly have they done to earn that ranking? They beat a God-awful Washington team and a bunch of really bad teams. I guess that is a Top 10 resume these days.

And Kansas State is still, somehow, riding the Bill Snyder wave to respect. Daniel Thomas is outstanding, but that's it. There is nothing else on that team that is in any way scary. But I guess having an 80 year old coach that had some good teams 15 years ago is enough to earn respect. Regardless, we're going to find out which one of these teams is a bigger fraud tonight.

Cheering On The Huskers Move To The Big 10

So the Huskers are the first team to join the new Big 10 (which now has 12 teams). Looks like the dominos are really about to fall now.

Nebraska Cheerleaders Take the Polar Plunge

This is the ONLY reason I would ever consider doing a Polar Plunge. The chance to roll around with the smokin' hot blonde would actually convince me to run into a lake in the middle of winter in Nebraska.

Holiday Bowl -- Nebraska v. Arizona

Do yourself a favor and watch Ndamukong Suh play his last game tonight before being a Top 3 draft pick in April. This dude is head-and-shoulders better than anybody else in college football. As a Missouri fan I have to hate him because he's a Husker, but I'd love to see him wearing a Chiefs uniform next year. He is just uber-talented. Unfortunately, the Husker O is putrid and could ruin this game for Suh. If Arizona can score any points at all, it will the best year in Tucson in quite a while.

Big 12 Championship Preview

This game shouldn't be nearly as exciting or close at the Florida/Alabama match-up, but I kinda felt like I should pay a little respect to my "home" conference. I haven't seen anyone outside the state of Nebraska pick the Huskers in this one, and I'm not going to be the first. Longhorns roll!!!
